Jim Coleman Honda Hoco Player of the Week: 12/15

​The senior forward averaged 25.7 points a game in three Gators victories last week. She scored 25 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and had 7 steals in a 66-43 win over Atholton. In a 59-51 victory over Long Reach, she scored 28 points to go along with 15 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 blocks. Then, to wrap-up the week, she scored 24 points in a win over Canarsie (NY).

But freshman Dickey, the younger sister of Jasmine Dickey (Delaware University), sparked a balanced offense with seven points and aggressive defense, along with Gabby Douglas (six steals) in the first half.

Senior Emily Dorn filled the stat sheet with 28 points, 15 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 blocks. 
The comeback continued in the fourth quarter and following a layup by Arianna Briggs-Hall (6 points, 11 rebounds).

After trailing by one point at the half, the Gators exploded to outscore the host Raiders by 16 points in the third quarter to create the separation needed to pull out the lopsided victory. Emily Dorn (25 points, 13 rebounds, 7 steals, 6 blocks and 3 assists) and Tiffany Hooker (23 points, 3 assists and 4 threes).

Catonsville girls basketball squad reloads with new cast on the court

Senior guards Gabby Douglas (5-feet, 10 inches) and Aysia Ferguson (5-5) started last season and junior Sophi Wrisk (5-9) came off the bench early.
Douglas has guided the Comets to a 72-9 record in her past three seasons as the point guard.
